I’ve been an avid believer, a zealous Christian, fully devoted, since WashU. I was part of a group that started a journal on campus to bring atheists to faith in Jesus Christ. I would even evangelize on campus frequently. I then transitioned to Pentecostalism from a more traditional Protestantism for many years, practicing my faith until I found my home in the Armenian Apostolic Church. For many years I read the Church Fathers which brought me to believe in the universal church which includes Orthodox, Catholic, and Oriental Orthodox Churches. On my way to converting to Catholicism, I saw that the Armenian Apostolic Church is the church of my baptism and also affirmed by Catholicism. It is also for Armenians, which makes converting to Roman Catholicism unnecessary. I’ve studied theology since I was a teenager, traveled the world to explore religions and spiritualities prior to converting to Christianity more deeply in college in return to my baptismal faith. I’ve been Protestant, which I believe is also genuine.
